What started your journey into nutrition?
I traveled a lot growing up, which exposed me to lots of exciting new foods and flavors, as well as the idea that food can be celebrated, not feared. I became a dietitian to help others rediscover the joy of eating.
If you had to describe in one sentence what you want the world to know about nutrition, what would it be?
True health and wellness is achieved through nourishment, not deprivation.
What are your must-have snacks on a road trip?
I love almonds and a whole milk latte, which keeps me full (and awake!) on the road. Another favorite is fresh fruit and a good cheese.
