What does Luvo mean?

Luvo [loo- vō] has Latin roots, and loosely means to give aid or strength to accomplish a purpose. To us, Luvo is a person who takes care of themselves so they can in turn, care for others. Luvo is a movement that sparks the belief that leading a healthy lifestyle creates your best self and inspires the world around you.

Where can I find the nutritional information on your products?

Nutritional information is available on all products on the website. You can find the nutritional information by searching for a product and entering the product name in the search box at the top of the page. Select the product you are interested in, this product page displays nutritional information as well as a full ingredients list.

How long are my meals good for?

All our meals have a best-before date printed on the packaging. Our Steam in Pouch™ meals also have the best-before date on the pouch as well.

Which products are nut free?

Many of our dishes are made without nuts, however we cannot guarantee that our dishes are allergen-free as the facility where they are produced is not certified allergen-free. Our labeling indicates this and we take every precaution to avoid contamination.

Which products are gluten free?

Dietary preferences including gluten free are indicated on each of our product’s packaging and on our website’s all products page.

How To Buy & Ordering Process

Where can I buy Luvo meals?

You can purchase directly from Luvo on our website. Additionally, you can place an order over the phone: 1.866.222.9464.

Is there an order minimum?

Nope! You are free to order as many or as few products as you like. However, to receive flat rate shipping of $9.99 you’ll need to spend $28.99. That shouldn’t be too hard!

What shipping options do I have?

Currently we offer ground shipping to the continental United States via UPS. You will get your cooler delivered 7-12 business days or less from the day we receive your order. You don’t have to be home to receive your cooler package as UPS is asked to leave your cooler package at your front door.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate shipping to the continental US for $9.99.

Do you ship internationally?

We are currently unable to ship internationally. Due to import-export restrictions, we cannot ship our products outside the United States.

How are Luvo products shipped?

Luvo products are shipped on dry ice in a polystyrene insulated cooler. This packaging combination can withstand any kind of weather and ensure your meals arrive safely and ready for your freezer.

Will sales tax be added to my order?

Luvo Inc. is required to collect sales tax in some states. The collection of sales tax is based on where an order is being shipped and will be added to an order during the checkout process.

What payment types are accepted?

All major credit cards and PayPal can be used to place your order.

How will I know the order was received?

Once your order is placed you will receive an Order Confirmation email, this confirms that we are processing your order.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once we have shipped your order you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will also include a tracking number so you know when to expect your meals.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Processing time takes 1-2 business days based on the time of day your order is placed. Once we process your order, shipping takes 5-10 business days based on your shipping location.

How can I view my order online?

You can track the status of your order by clicking the link in your shipping confirmation email. You can also contact Customer Service at 1.866.222.9464, 7 days a week between the hours of 9am -5pm CST, or send an email to customercare@luvoinc.com.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Yes, you are able to modify or cancel an order if you contact customer care within 48 hours of placing your order. Please call 1.866.222.9464 or email customercare@luvoinc.com for further assistance.

What if I provide an inaccurate shipping address?

Luvo reserves the right to make corrections and to limit refunds and replacements if an address error is made. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are provided; which are confirmed on the order confirmation. Please call 1.866.222.9464 as soon as possible to correct any address errors.

Can I set up my order to be repeated?

At this time we do not offer orders that can be repeated or a subscriptions service. If you would like a quicker checkout process you can sign up with a Luvo account to have all your shipping details saved.

How to Prepare & Tidy Up

Do I need to put the pouch on a plate in the microwave?

Just follow the cooking instructions on the paper pouch, making sure to check the microwave wattage for the best cooking. All our tests are conducted using an 1100 watt microwave oven.

In a conventional oven, the steam pouch needs to be positioned on a tray rather than placed directly on an oven rack.

Is the container oven safe?

Yes, you will be able to find cooking directions for both the microwave or the conventional oven on the product’s packaging.

What should I do with my cooler once I receive my order?

Our cooler is reusable and can be recycled time and time again. Many of our customers enjoy reusing their coolers at picnics, at the beach or for storage. If you can’t find a “re-use” for your cooler, please call your local recycling centre to see if they will accept it.

Is the product packaging recyclable?

Yes. Our outer box is made from 100% recycled paperboard with 75% post-consumer waste; the steam pouch contains unbleached paper made from 20% pre-consumer waste and uses soy or waterless inks. Additionally, some community recycling programs allow the entire steam pouch to be recycled while others do not, so consumers should check with their local recycling program for options.

What is the steam pouch bag made of?

Our paper steam pouch is very similar to a conventional roasting pouch: it uses unbleached paper sandwiched to a lining of BPA-free Mylar film that is specially designed to gently steam each entrée, locking in flavor and aroma.
